In her masterclass, 'MoMA Archives', Michelle Elligott revisits the history of museum archives in the United States, before focusing on the archival activity at MoMA. With more than 6.5 million objects in MoMA's archives collection, this museum is an example of how an archive can bring the history of a cultural institution into interaction with national and international art history.
