Esther Cruces

In this video of the 'On Archives Masterclass' series, Esther Cruces speaks about 'Archivo General de Indias' (Seville, Spain), where she is the Director. The records that are kept in this archive bring to the present the memory of three different continents: Europe, Asia and America. Cruces shows some of the records they preserve at the archive, and how they are crucial to understand Spanish history, such as the 'Tratado de Tordesillas' or different historical maps.
