International Mountain Conference 2025

The NFI has been invited to participate in the International Mountain Conference (IMC) 2025, taking place from 14–18 September in Innsbruck, Austria. This conference serves as a premier platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on mountain sustainability, urban resilience and environmental health.

At IMC 2025, the NFI will present its latest research on urban health, focusing on data-driven metrics that assess factors influencing urban comfort. This research aligns with the conference's focus on the role of urban centres within mountain regions and their contribution to sustainable development. By leveraging real-time data, NFI aims to identify and mitigate environmental stressors that impact residents' wellbeing.
