Sarah Morris
In this episode of our 'Building the Future' series, we talk to American artist Sarah Morris.
Sarah Morris is a New York-based artist whose paintings and films explore the structures and psychology of urban life. Her bold, geometric paintings draw from architectural details and city dynamics, while her films, like ‘Los Angeles’ (2005) and ‘Beijing’ (2008), offer cinematic portraits of cities and their power systems. Morris has exhibited globally, with recent solo shows at M+ Museum, Tai Kwun Contemporary and Zentrum Paul Klee in 2024.
